Reviews and Ratings
The hotel tries to keep its country style intact, giving a cozy feel but the rooms could use a refreshing touch as they felt a bit dated and dark even with the lights on. The service was friendly and helpful despite staff appearing more engaged with computers at times. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, especially with the added perk of free parking. The dining experience was a mix of good and poor options, with a decent selection on some days but lacking on others. Overall, a comfortable stay with room for improvement.
The hotel is a bit worn out but still has its charms. The location near a village and with free parking was perfect for us. The pool just outside our room was a lovely touch, though the lack of air conditioning in the hot rooms was a downside.
The hotel is definitely in need of some updates, with rooms that seem like they belong more in a student hostel than a hotel. Every turn I made in the room just resulted in squeaks and rattles, which was quite bothersome. On the positive side, the location is lovely being close to the Kinderdijk Windmills, and having a pool nearby was a great relief in the heat. The dining experience was mixed with standard options but great coffee and breakfast choices.
